     Beeswax

Beeswax in leather conditioners works by sealing the pores of the leather. You are much better off by using a leather conditioner containing only high quality light oils. If you use a leather conditioner containing beeswax and your cat or dog urinates on your leather furniture you will end up throwing the furniture away.

We won’t comment how smart it is to intentionally block the pores of your expensive leather furniture. We will leave that for you to figure out. However if you cat or dog urinates all over your expensive leather furniture how are you going to get any cleaning product down thru the pores of the leather to effectively clean out their urine?

Avoid any cleaning products that blocks or restricts the leathers natural ability to breath. Any wax based cleaning products should be avoided if there is any chance that you cat or dog may decide to use your expensive leather furniture as a toilet.
