     Mold

Chlorine Bleach is not a useful or an effective mold killing agent for wood-based building materials.

The Occupational Safety and Health Organization is the first federal agency to announce a departure from the use of Chlorine Bleach in mold remediation.

A Chlorine Bleach solution is an effective sanitizing agent that will kill surface mold on hard surfaces.

Chlorine Bleach will neutralize indoor mold allergens that trigger allergies.

Chlorine Bleach is not effective in killing the roots on soft or porous surfaces.

If you suspect toxic mold evidenced by a reddish or blackish color you should document using color photographs where appropriate and retain the services of a competent laboratory for authentication.

Due to the risk of serious personal injury to humans and pets, reoccurring mold issues are best handled by a qualified professional.
