     Vinegar

Vinegar is a form of old French meaning "sour wine". It is a sour-tasting liquid made from the oxidation of ethanol in wine, cider, beer, fermented fruit juice, or nearly any other liquid containing alcohol.

Vinegar can also be produced by certain bacteria acting on sugar-water solutions directly, without intermediary conversion to ethanol. Commercially available vinegar usually has a measure of acidity of about 2.4.

There is no scientific basis for the old wives tale that vinegar is a clearing agent.
Using vinegar on your urine removal project will seriously complicate your cleaning.

Visit the cleaning agents page to learn what other cleaning products you should avoid.
